Bertal unglazed Moroccan Tagine is imported from Marrakesh. It's food safe and can be used on stove top (low heat) as well as in the oven (up to 350F). Moroccan Tagine needs to be seasoned before being used. When seasoning this tagine for first use, please be generous on the olive oil. This process mysteriously makes an important difference in flavor and adds strength to your tagine.
